Regular Membership (40+) includes full access and privileges to all of the Club’s facilities; Golf Course, Golf Shop, Clubhouse, Pool, Tennis Courts and all social activities for the member, member’s spouse and dependents.
Golf Membership (34-39) includes full access and privileges to all of the Club’s facilities; Golf Course, Golf Shop, Clubhouse, Pool, Tennis Courts and all social activities for the member, member’s spouse and dependents.
Golf Membership (21-33) includes full access and privileges to all of the Club’s facilities; Golf Course, Golf Shop, Clubhouse, Pool, Tennis Courts and all social activities for the member, member’s spouse and dependents.
Social Membership includes full use of the Clubhouse, Pool, Tennis Courts and all social activities for the member, member’s spouse and dependents.

OAKWOOD GOLF

Secluded from homes and outside distractions, our beautiful and challenging 6,500 yard course is open year round for play (weather permitting). The manicured greens feature bentgrass with zoysia fairways and tees. Oakwood members enjoy the exclusivity and convenience of a NO TEE TIME championship golf course. A round of golf usually takes less than 4 hours, giving members plenty of time to get in their golf round and still have time for family and other daily activities. Practice Facilities include a Driving Range, Putting Green and Short Game Practice Facility.

OAKWOOD pool

Oakwood’s pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day each year. In addition to the main pool, a separate infant/ toddler pool is available for your little ones. Food and beverage service is available at the pool. Oakwood competes in the Country Club Swim Association of Kansas City, a seven-week swim and dive competition each summer with nine other private clubs in the Kansas City area for children 6 to 18 years of age. A pre-competitive program is available for children under age 6. Swimmers and divers compete in four meets during the season. Following each swim meet, the swimmers, divers and their families enjoy awards and a themed buffet dinner at the Club. The season commences with Dive Championships and Swim Championships, usually the second week of July, followed by our Swim and Dive Banquet at the Club. Our swim instructors and staff are also available for private lessons.

OAKWOOD banquet & catering events

Oakwood offers five unique areas for your event with such features as vaulted ceilings, beautiful woodwork, views of the golf course and lower patio with a fountain. Our renowned Executive Chef and his culinary team, including a pastry chef, will provide you and your guests with an exceptional dining experience to create lasting memories. Our banquet manager will assist you with every detail throughout the planning and execution of your event.

OAKWOOD ROOMS: 70 person capacity
PROGRESS ROOM: 100 person capacity
PATIO: 200 person (dining capacity) / 250 person (ceremony capacity)

OAKWOOD tennis

Kansas City United Tennis (KCUT) runs our fabulous tennis program. We have six outdoor courts, a pickle ball court and a sand volleyball court available for your use. KCUT and Oakwood together offer something for everyone in your family, no matter their age! - Ladies Day on Wednesday Mornings - Seniors Day on Saturday & Sunday Mornings - Ladies 10-Cap League - Family Tennis Events - Children’s Tennis & Pizza Parties - Junior Member-Guest Tournament - Junior Tennis League - Ladies Member-Guest Tournament - Breakfast at Wimbledon - Ladies Cardio Tennis - Pickleball Private lessons or group lessons are also available through the head tennis pro or his assistants. During the winter months, tennis is available through our reciprocal arrangements with Carriage Club and Homestead Country Club.

OAKWOOD dining & social events

The Grill Room is a great place to enjoy lunch or dinner with family and friends. The Lounge is ideal for beverages after a round of golf or to grab a quick bite. During the spring, summer and early fall, dining is also available on the patio. Our menus change seasonally. Be sure to ask for the wine list! Our Social Events are for everyone in the family! Some of our more popular events are the Family Halloween Party, 4th of July with Children’s Activities & Fireworks, Ladies Winter Luncheon, Monthly Texas Hold’Em Tournaments, Date Night at the Lake, Wine Dinners, Culinary Creations, Cooking Class, Kid’s Pickleball & Pizza Parties, Book Club, Lobster Buffet (three times a year) and Ladies Night Out.

OAKWOOD summer camp

One of the unique features of Oakwood is our six-week camp for children 3 - 12 years of age. Started over 50 years ago, every summer from the first Monday in June through the first Friday in July, our members’ children enjoy a fun filled summer of games and crafts along with sports activities, such as hiking, fishing, sand volleyball, cup stacking, fort building and archery. Campers have daily professional golf, tennis and swim lessons, along with a nutritious lunch and snacks.
